NMYSA Establishes Friendly Registry

From the New Mexico Youth Soccer Association:

Dear Coaches,

Now that soccer season is upon us, I would like to tell you a little bit about our new friendly registry. We have started this registry as a way to connect coaches and teams with other coaches and teams throughout the state, looking for friendly games. We started this because we recognized that for many coaches, finding new teams to play outside of their regular league was a challenge. For example, as a team manager of the only U13 girl’s team in a remote, rural area, finding other teams to play was not always easy. We knew there were teams out there but we did not know how to find them.

This registry is basically a phone book of teams and their coaches. It is open to teams of all skill levels from developmental to premier. There is no obligation or fee to join. The more teams that join the registry, the more effective it becomes. Please visit the NMYSA website to access the registry at this address: http://www.nmysa.net/LeftNav/News/Current_News/Friendly_Registry.htm

I would really like to encourage you to join the registry and help make a stronger, more cohesive soccer community throughout the state.

Thank you,

Stephanie Stynes
